Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
∎ Course on “Fire Science & Occupational Safety” by Bangladesh Fire Service & Civil Defense will be an added advantage.
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: ISO 14001 and 45001
∎ Training/Trade Course: Fire Science and Occupational Safety
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Daily Safety walk and Hazard Identification and elimination through concerned department heads.
∎ Risk assessment and propose mitigation plan in discussion with concerned department
∎ Doing assessment of risk of Machinery, Process and Environment and manage the implementation of solution
∎ Make safety equipment requisition and maintain control of delivery and use
∎ Documentations and record management as per company rules and ISO requirements
∎ Required tasks assigned for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
∎ Ensure all Check Lists and meetings are as per schedule and manage implement meeting minutes
∎ Ensure and participate internal and external audits, ensure EHS compliance and manage implement audit findings
∎ Perform daily Tool Box meeting with contractor workers and maintenance employees.
∎ Maintaining Violation Record and Safety Book Records
∎ Analyze all Data’s and information’s and make power point presentation with Charts and Graphs as required by business.
∎ Acquire Knowledge and being updated on Factory Rules and Laws, BNBC codes, Environmental Laws Health & Safety Laws and Rules (Local and International) Standards and best practices.
∎ Develop and implement Policies, Procedures and SOP’s on EHS
∎ To ensure that the quality management system conforms to the requirements of International Standard.
∎ Reporting on the performance of the quality management system and on opportunities for improvement in particular to Top Management.
∎ To ensure the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization.
∎ To ensure that the integrity of the quality management system is maintained when changes to the Quality Management System are planned and implemented.
∎ Any other job assigned by the Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 32 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Knowledge in EHS, Fire Detection System, Fire Hydrant System, Fire Pump (Electrical and Diesel), Knowledge on NFPA and IEC, Local Fire Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety and Electrical Safety and codes etc.
∎ Must have good knowledge of communication in both Bangla and English (writing, speaking and typing).
∎ Should have EHS job experiences in manufacturing.
∎ Must have very good knowledge and skill in MS Word, Power Point and MS Excel
∎ Willingness to work in a factory environment.
∎ Hardworking and able to work under pressure and overtime.
∎ Must be in Good Health.
