Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Market Research: Conduct thorough research to understand our target market, competitors, and industry trends.
∎ Business Strategy: Develop and implement the long-term business plan for the e-commerce business, including market positioning, growth strategies, and key performance indicators.
∎ Product sourcing: Identify suppliers, negotiate prices and ensure the sourcing process aligns with out brand values and customer needs.
∎ Platform Development: Setup the e-commerce platform, ensuring its optimized for user experience, functionality and scalability.
∎ Marketing Strategy: Create and execute digital marketing strategies (SEO,PPC, Social Media) to drive traffic and sales.
∎ Logistics & Fulfillment: Develop the logistics and fulfillment strategy including inventory management, shipping and returns.
∎ Brand Development: Establish a strong brand identity, including logo, website design and communication strategies that resonate with our TG.
∎ Customer Service: Set up and manage customer service processes to ensure an excellent shopping experience, including post-purchase support.
∎ Analytics & Reporting: Use data analytics to track business performance, adjust strategies and identity area of improvement.
∎ About Us: We are in the process of launching a brand new e-commerce business (Packaged Food Preferably in Bottles & Jars) and are looking for an experienced, results-driven E-commerce Business Strategist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to build a company from the ground up and play a critical role in shaping its future.
∎ Job Overview: As the E-commerce Business Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and executing the overall strategy for launching and scaling our online store. You will be working closely with the founders and other key stakeholders to set the direction, make critical business decisions, and ensure the successful launch of our e-commerce platform. This is a hands-on role, and you will be involved in every aspect of the business from product sourcing to marketing, logistics, and customer experience.
