Educational Requirements:
∎ SSC or 8th pass minimum.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Drive the High Truck, Medium Truck and Mini Truck for product distribution and car micro bus for office staffs.
∎ Drive incoming visitors/delegations.
∎ Drive outside of Dhaka on official duty.
∎ Deliver mail/goods and complete errands.
∎ Ensure maintenance of the Company vehicles to be presentable and ready at all times.
∎ Arrange vehicle servicing appointments.
∎ Maintain logbook on vehicle use.
∎ Take responsible action in unusual situation including evasive driving according to security procedures, find alternative routes.
∎ Maintain relevant official protocol.
∎ Assist in shared administrative tasks as directed by the Transport Coordinator.
∎ Perform other tasks at the behest of the Manager Supply Chain or Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Valid Bangladeshi driver's license, including license for driving heavy vehicles.
∎ Excellent driving skills and an impeccable driving record.
∎ Good sense of direction and knowledge of the road network in Dhaka and whole country.
∎ Skills in reading maps and navigation.
∎ Good communication skills, oral and written, in both English and Bangla.
∎ Some practical knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
∎ Able to do heavy lifting.
∎ Original Police Clearance certificate.
∎ Driving experience with inter district truck or heavy truck, personal vehicles, evasive and defensive driving, knowledge of basic first aid would be added advantage.
∎ Willingness to work irregular hours (shift)
∎ Service-minded, flexible and hardworking.
