Job Context:
∎ Tearfund Bangladesh Country Office is looking for a "Driver cum Messenger" as the recruitment of suitable candidates for the application to be called to the following:
∎ Workplace: Dhaka with other districts depending on requirement.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The selected candidate has to perform the following duties: However, you may need to work beyond the office requirements:
∎ Regular office care and maintenance of the vehicle.
∎ All information about the overall condition of the road including traffic jams should be kept informed (via radio news)
∎ To act as messenger (office support).
∎ Regularly keep track of local roads and alternate routes.
∎ Cars / Vehicles & Storage:
∎ Keep regular cleaning of the inside and outside of the office vehicle.
∎ All papers, log books should be stored in the vehicle engaged in the project work and the registers should be checked every month.
∎ Security:
∎ To deal with the situation in case any accident is accepted.
∎ Assistance to the Administration Department
∎ Providing assistance in organizing various events.
∎ Make paper sheets and photocopies if needed.
∎ Go for bank work as required and other government related work.
∎ Generally doable:
∎ Apparel should be properly dressed.
∎ Office cars may not be used for personal purposes without the permission of the office or its appointed representative.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have minimum 3 years' experience in driving (certification letter must be submitted to support experience) where at least 3 years of field level experience is required.
∎ Experience working in other districts will be an additional.
∎ Must have the ability to speak and communicate in English.
∎ Be well-behaved and courteous.
∎ Worked in NGO or with foreigners.

Salary:
∎ Negotiable
