Educational Requirements:
∎ MBBS degree with one-year internship and along with registration from BMDC (Training/degree in paediatrics and/or public health will get preference)

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To ensure quality and timely implementation of the -inpatient care services against set objectives, targets, work plans, including monitoring against log frames, individual performance management work plans.
∎ To ensure systematic triage of malnourished children coming to the SC.
∎ To ensure that the admission criteria are respected in the SC
∎ To ensure the accuracy of anthropometric measurements taken in the SC.
∎ Provide appropriate treatment to the patients according to prescribed guidelines.
∎ Make round routinely for the proper follow up and monitoring of the patients.
∎ Ensure the phase nurses and registers are monitoring the patients regularly and correctly according to the standard protocols (Weight change, presence of oedema, temperature, surveillance recorded, appetite etc.)
∎ Ensure proper counselling and health education to the caregivers by the staffs.
∎ Identify and manage critical ill patients promptly and refer them to higher center if required.
∎ Support the Nutrition Program Manager in development and adapting of nutrition program job aides and IEC materials, as well as beneficiary databases, and reporting tools, for smooth service delivery
∎ Identify the frontline staff training and capacity building needs and lead in preparation for and/or facilitation of the sessions as needed
∎ Support effective coordination and joint planning between all stakeholders in the project towards achieving objectives, particularly ensuring strong linkages with IYCF activities
∎ Ensure that each member of the team fully understands the outcomes that are expected from them; supporting team members to work to the highest quality of standard possible.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Around 2 years' progressive experience in Clinical Services.
∎ Technical knowledge on Community management of acute malnutrition (SC, OTP, TSFP, CMAM), Child care practices and IYCF programming will add value.
∎ Experience and knowledge about team management.
∎ Having good knowledge on Rohingya refugee programmes could be an asset.
∎ Demonstrate ability to think and manage strategically, plan and meet deadlines
∎ Fluency in English, both written and verbal as well as Bangla.
∎ Proficient knowledge of standard computer software.

Salary: Tk. 88473 (Monthly)
