Educational Requirements:
∎ Degree in Epidemiology/ Public Health, or a related field
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Organize epidemiological data management objectives in the project.
∎ Generate internal reports, including a narrative and charts/graphs, to display feedback from all mechanisms.
∎ Work with technical teams to develop surveys, tools, templates to support data collection (paper-based tools and mobile data collection tools).
∎ Ensure that program staff are collecting and reporting on the required/all indicators in a timely manner.
∎ Advise the team on epidemiological matters that arise in the course of implementation, and when necessary devise new data collection tools to meet epidemiological / disease surveillance needs.
∎ Carry out site visits to program activities to ensure that data collection tools are being used accurately.
∎ Ensuring program staff are recording and capturing feedback data in a timely manner and are using the collection tools appropriately.
∎ Develop systems to ensure collection of medical information during early program design/start-up phases.
∎ Support entry, aggregation, and compilation of data.
∎ Organize collection/analysis of medical data for activity reports.
∎ Train the registrar and other medical staff on preparing these reports.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 1 year of experience in similar position with International/ National NGO.
∎ Working experience with Health program/ project is preferable.
∎ Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS Word.
∎ Experience with or interest in mobile data collection (Kobo, Comcare, ODK etc.).
∎ Attention to detail.
∎ Working proficiency with data management software will be highly appreciated.
∎ Proficiency in written and verbal English and Bangla.
∎ People who have knowledge in Chittagonian language will get preference.
