Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To meet and assess all new patients. (Duty dietician)
∎ To visit & talk all inpatient every day and diet counseling verbally.(duty dietician)
∎ To make diet order (KOT) as per previous day visits or assessment of all inpatients and hand over to the Food production department.
∎ To taste food before sending food for the patients.
∎ To monitor tray lining when steward will do tray lining.
∎ To plan nutritionally adequate diet for the patient as recommended by the treating consultant.
∎ To ensure that appropriate diet planning is done consistent with patient’s clinical requirement and diets are available on a regular basis or as and when required (in coordination with F & B department.
∎ To ensure nutritional awareness among patient’s for prevention and control of diseases and promotion of health.
∎ To keep record patients’ diet in the diet chart at dietetics department.
∎ To attend Inter Disciplinary Team Round with team.
∎ To give Nutritional Education to the patient & patient’s family.
∎ To maintain progress, note into the patient file.
∎ To make meal plan, diet chart, diet counseling with written form, before discharge patient. (if patient required.).
∎ To maintain communication with F & B department.
