Educational Requirements:
∎ MBBS degree with completion of 1-year Internship from BMDC recognized Govt/Non-Govt Institution.
∎ CCD degree is a must.
∎ 1-year PGT in Endocrinology from any recognized Institution will be treated as an additional qualification.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure patient care for all patients attending to the Maternity Center.
∎ During the first appointment with a new patient, the diabetologist gathers a detailed patient history, conducts a physical exam, studies diagnostic reports, and orders additional tests.
∎ S/he will complete the diagnosis and prescribe a course of treatment
∎ S/he will be responsible for discussion about the disease, current physical condition of the patient, treatment plan, and answering relevant queries.
∎ S/he will schedule follow-up appointments with patients to assess the effectiveness of treatment and make the appropriate changes.
∎ S/he will be responsible for advising & counseling the patients for regular checkups of their blood sugar. S/he may also suggest specialized diet, exercise, lifestyle & food habit modification where needed.
∎ The diabetologist will input necessary data about the patient to the given software-based patient management system.
∎ Establisher & maintain teamwork & co-operation with the multidisciplinary team i.e., Nursing, paramedics, etc to ensure maximum benefit from coordinated care.
∎ Have to attend OPD & Emergency Patients
∎ Ensure detailed note of medical records & proper documentation including patient history, referral note, etc. where appropriate.
∎ Dealing with complaints or problems of patient, clinical staff & patient's attendants
∎ Carry out duties & responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time & at the discretion of the authority/line manager.
∎ Client care issues:
∎ Ensuring services meet Friendship and national standards
∎ Report submission:
∎ Need to produce & submit monthly & periodic report to Head Office
∎ Working environment:
∎ The own service area will be his or her own responsibility, everything related to the service area will be his or her own duty and accountability to be fulfilled

Additional Requirements:
∎ Practical 3 years' Experience in Clinical service of related field required
∎ Language proficiency must be good in both Bangla and English
∎ Must have to maintain well manner and behavior with the patient
∎ Must have the capacity to work under pressure
∎
