Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Electric/Electronics/EEE from any reputed university including 10+ years of experience at Utility, Electrical & Solar System in modern spinning industries.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ To manage and handle the Gas Generators, Diesel Generator, AC plant, Compressor, Chiller and Solar System of spinning unit. He must have knowledge in Substations, Generator`s troubleshooting, maintenance, and servicing etc. He will have to handle other types of machinery, mainly mechanical & electrical works in our spinning mills as well. He is also familiar with MEP design & Environmental Management Systems.
∎ Job Location: Chattogram. Need to stay within the premises.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning, scheduling and supervision of Gas & Diesel Generators and also ensure schedule maintenance of Gas & Diesel Generators and Solar Panels.
∎ Able to trouble shooting works of the above-mentioned machinery.
∎ Manpower allocation of concerned section against assigned jobs and properly monitoring to meet the goal.
∎ Ensure the machine breaks down as little as possible by properly using man, machine and spare parts.
∎ Operational characteristics, services, and activities of a Utility facilities program, as well as applicable principles and practices of utilities program management.
∎ To manage, monitor and ensure efficient and exceptional execution of maintenance Operations.
∎ To supervise and monitor any kind of electrical installation i.e., electrical wiring, electrical load calculation, load connection, electrical panel board installation etc.
∎ To design, calculation, construction & Installation of electrical MDB, DB, SDB board.
∎ To find and solve electrical problem in the factory according to electrical & fire safety standard & compliance.
∎ To prepare and ensure preventive maintenance to the electrical system.
∎ To monitor and maintain substation and electrical panel board (LT, HT, PFI, MDB, SDB, DB panel) according to compliance.
∎ To installation and maintenance of central addressable fire alarm system (Fire Alarm, Smoke Detector, Head Detector, Manual call point).
∎ To create electrical single line diagram, electrical layout plan by Auto-CAD and other software.
∎ To maintain electrical related documents i.e. All electrical drawing layout, diagram, electrical checklist, inspection and maintenance record & others file.
∎ Proven ability to prepare and administer program budgets, and prepare cost estimates, and concise and accurate administrative and financial reports.
∎ Identify continuous improvement and cost savings opportunities including focus on Environmental impact.
∎ Should have practical knowledge on operating (Gas Generator, Diesel Generator, Compressor, Chiller. AC Plant, Water Pump, Workshop and Solar System)
∎ Responsible to ensure optimum utilization of energy (Power, Air, Gas etc.) and measure units of utilities produced, utilized and waste through monthly reporting.
∎ Ensure proper monitoring and follow up routine for schedule maintenance including break down maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting maintenance.
∎ Perform with technical specialists like electrical engineering, process and automation to resolve complete requirement.
∎ Ensure to make decisions related to electrical engineering principles application to operation problems and requirements proposed.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience and knowledge of Utility, Electrical preferred.
∎ Proven expertise as a Utility & Electrical engineer.
∎ Experience in Project Management, AutoCAD software, Gantt chart, MS office.
∎ Understanding of Electrical Engineering codes and safety standard.
∎ Strong verbal and written communication skills
∎ Relevant technical knowledge.
∎ Team working, relationship-building and influencing skills.
