Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering from any reputed public/private university with exceptional track record may be considered as an ideal candidate.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The incumbent to be responsible for:
∎ Preparation of Production and Erection drawing using Tekla & AutoCAD.
∎ Produces detailed drawings for steel fabricators and steel erectors.
∎ Prepare detailed plans, drawings and other documents for the manufacture and erection of steel members (columns, beams, braces, trusses, stairs, handrails, joists, metal decking, etc.)
∎ Read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the type of steel needed
∎ Develop models and detailed drawings of steel structures using computer-aided design (CAD) software
∎ Coordinate with other members of the construction team to ensure that the steel detailing meets the project requirements
∎ Prepare shop drawings for the fabrication of steel elements, including dimensions, material types, and connection details
∎ Stay up-to-date on the latest CAD software programs and technologies
∎ Review completed projects to identify any errors or areas of improvement
∎ Perform quality control checks on completed drawings
∎ Preparation of structural drawing through Draftsman.
∎ Any other assignment not detailed herein & felt conducive by Management as and when necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Experience in the relevant field will be preferred.
∎ MUST know AutoCAD and Tekla structure, Microsoft Office.
∎ Have expertise in steel structure detailing and RCC/Industrial projects and practical knowledge in relevant field.
∎ Have knowledge about connections details, welding, nesting, etc.
∎ Have the capability to work under pressure & to be a team player.
∎ Ability to check/redline other detailers work accurately.
∎ Expertise on Aise, BS and OSHA detailing standards.
∎ Ability to prepare RFI's will be preferred.
