Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The incumbent to be responsible for: Preparation of Production and Erection drawing using Tekla & AutoCAD. Produces detailed drawings for steel fabricators and steel erectors. Prepare detailed plans, drawings and other documents for the manufacture and erection of steel members (columns, beams, braces, trusses, stairs, handrails, joists, metal decking, etc.) Read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the type of steel needed Develop models and detailed drawings of steel structures using computer-aided design (CAD) software Coordinate with other members of the construction team to ensure that the steel detailing meets the project requirements Prepare shop drawings for the fabrication of steel elements, including dimensions, material types, and connection details Stay up-to-date on the latest CAD software programs and technologies Review completed projects to identify any errors or areas of improvement Perform quality control checks on completed drawings Preparation of structural drawing through Draftsman. Any other assignment not detailed herein & felt conducive by Management as and when necessary.
