Employment Status: Full-time

Educational Requirements:
∎ B. Sc in Civil Engineering from any public university with good academic record.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design and Analyze the Steel Structure for the governing loads conditions as per the code requirement
∎ Prepare Design of steel structure or pre-engineered steel structure using customized software as well as STAAD Pro, ETABS including 3D modeling well conversant with AutoCAD and able to develop MS spread sheets for design calculations.
∎ Prepare connection design; Preparing estimates & detail design as required within estimated project value.
∎ Prepare master design specifications, dimensions, thickness etc.
∎ Understand the parameter of total structure from sales engineer; Analysis the Offer design & submit the weight of the project.
∎ Review the drawings received from consultant / client
∎ Must attending Technical meetings with Sales/Marketing and clients.
∎ Providing inputs for detailing and providing support to other all connecting departments including factory/production.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have practical experience of Design of Pre-Fabricated steel structures (specially high-rise steel building design and steel shed building design experience)
∎ Must have knowledge of Estimate & Sales Offer preparation
∎ Required knowledge of Local and International Steel building standards and Codes for design of Steel structures.
∎ Should have knowledge and familiar with earthquake resistant structure design.
∎ Zero tolerance in error design.
∎ Leadership skills to supervise the designers
∎ Good computer command, communication and presentation skills.
∎ Must be a team player and able to work under pressure.
∎ IEB membership must be needed.
