Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc)
∎ Minimum B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from a reputed university.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ability to support the Project Managers and other team members as necessary for smooth execution of the projects.
∎ Under the direction and supervision of other Engineers be able to design control and other ancillary buildings, steel structures for gantry towers and equipment supports, foundations for all reinforced concrete and steel structures, transformers including all necessary infra-structures required to build a substation.
∎ Assist with the prepare calculations and reports relating to project submittals.
∎ Work in conjunction with civil engineers and project leaders to develop engineering designs.
∎ Evaluating design alternatives to solve constructability, code, and site challenges.
∎ Performing site visits to perform appropriate design and coordinate with site teams of multiple disciplines.
∎ Provide assistance with project bidding and construction administration phases.
∎ Work cooperatively on project teams.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 20 years
∎ Year of design work experience: 5
∎ Previous design experience (at least 2 years) of civil infrastructures in high voltage power distribution sub-station (132kV/230kV/400kV) projects is required.
∎ Working knowledge of computer programs STAAD-Pro/ETABS/SAFE, Excel, AutoCad
∎ Experience using AutoCAD is required. Proficiency with MS-Excel is preferred.
∎ Ability to understand and follow directions is a necessity.
∎ The candidate must have strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills in order to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel.
∎ Ability to communicate with project managers, clients and review agencies.
∎ Ability to multi-task and mange time and workload.
∎ Ability to independently solve problems.
