Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct site and tree surveys.
∎ Develop program drawings to outline space requirements.
∎ Prepare layout drawings and assist in 3D massing.
∎ Coordinate structural and MEP designs, including lift, plumbing, and electrical layouts.
∎ Finalize design parameters with different teams.
∎ Create 2D layouts and 3D models for visualization.
∎ Collaborate with interior designers, engineers, vendors, and site teams.
∎ Check slab, brick, tile, and marble layouts before execution.
∎ Provide on-site design solutions and ensure quality control.
∎ Choose fixtures, materials, and samples based on design mood boards.
∎ Assist vendors in preparing shop drawings for glazing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and more.
∎ Prepare area calculations for RAJUK approvals.
∎ Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and MEP drawings.
∎ Ensure as-built drawings comply with RAJUK occupancy requirements.

∎ The Design Associate at InterStudio will support architectural and interior design projects from concept to execution. This role involves site analysis, design development, coordination with different teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
∎ Key Responsibilities
∎ 1. Analysis & Planning
∎ Conduct site and tree surveys.
∎ Develop program drawings to outline space requirements.
∎ 2. Design Development
∎ Prepare layout drawings and assist in 3D massing.
∎ Coordinate structural and MEP designs, including lift, plumbing, and electrical layouts.
∎ Finalize design parameters with different teams.
∎ 3. Presentation & Drafting
∎ Create 2D layouts and 3D models for visualization.
∎ 4. Meetings & Coordination
∎ Collaborate with interior designers, engineers, vendors, and site teams.
∎ 5. Design Supervision
∎ Check slab, brick, tile, and marble layouts before execution.
∎ Provide on-site design solutions and ensure quality control.
∎ 6. Material & Product Selection
∎ Choose fixtures, materials, and samples based on design mood boards.
∎ 7. Shop Drawings & Vendor Support
∎ Assist vendors in preparing shop drawings for glazing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and more.
∎ 8. Compliance & Authority Approvals
∎ Prepare area calculations for RAJUK approvals.
∎ 9. Construction Documentation
∎ Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and MEP drawings.
