Responsibilities & Context:
Qualification:
S/he should have a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering. S/he should have at least 25 years of total professional experience including at least 20 years of experience in design/construction of Bridges/hydraulic structures like jetty/terminal building structure.
Task:
His/Her major responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to the following:
S/he shall perform under the Team Leader and manage the assignment as per ToR.
S/he shall be responsible for delegating tasks to the team members, professionals and support staff and oversee that their performance and deliveries are of a high and acceptable standard.
S/he shall ensure that proper coordination is maintained within the team, with the local officials and leaders, and with the Client. S/he shall mange for resolving any issue that may crop up during the planning and execution stages, and bring such issues to the notice of the Client that require intervention of the later.
S/he shall be responsible for timely submission of the reports and other deliverables.
To attend all site meeting.
To liaise with Contractor’s Agent.
To organize his team and supervise his team to cover all aspect of supervision work and other relevant works.
To instruct his staff on the method of construction to be adopted for all aspect of work and recording works.
