∎ B.Sc in Civil Engineering from any reputed public/private university (BUET, CUET, KUET, RUET, IUT, AUST) with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0

Job Context:
∎ Department - Project Operations,
∎ Leave /attendance control and recommendation for site engineers/staff
Job Responsibilities:
∎ BOQ/Budget Preparation:
∎ Prepare/Review Structural Design and provide feedback to Consultants.
∎ Prepare/Review Bill of Quantity (Structural/Finishing/Sanitary/EME etc.) and obtain appropriate approval.
∎ Coordination with Architects, Designers, Engineers, HOP's to prepare the BOQ.
∎ Project Management Monitoring and Project Progress:
∎ Obtain understanding of project management which includes planning, budgeting and scheduling.
∎ Preparing Work Schedule using MS Project software,
∎ Preparing monthly schedules and monitoring of the schedules and preparing progress report.
∎ Conduct project site visits to monitor progress and ensure conformance to planning.
∎ Troubleshooting of relevant project problems.
∎ Receive requirements from the site for any changes during construction.
∎ Ensure Compliance of design with Company Standard.
∎ Total project planning (Work Schedule, Manpower, Equipment requirement etc.) before start of a new project
∎ Project site office set i.e. store, stack yard work place etc. properly for smooth construction
∎ Coordination with concern person/ department for decision collection (as follows) and time to time passing instruction to the respective SIC for execution:
∎ All kinds of drawings related problems
∎ Client's decision
∎ Others
∎ Regular site visits as much as possible, monitoring the work progress and control the work schedule properly
∎ Requisition for contractor's selection to the head of operation for work order
∎ Proper checking & control of requisition
∎ All kinds of labor contractor bills checking & authorize for approval
∎ Quality control (check of strength of concrete, cement, re-bars, workmanship of finishing works like plaster, tiles, wood works, paints etc.)
∎ Arrange/ call regular meeting in the project site office with respective SIC. Site engineers and relevant contractors every 10 days interval in construction team and report to PD
∎ Preparation of monthly progress report
∎ Take necessary action for rectifications/ modifications of works as claimed by the clients and agreed/ approved by SPL before/during project handover procedure time
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 9 - 10 Years of experience in field of construction
∎ Commercially aware and capable of working well within a team environment.
∎ Ability to think methodically, to design, plan and manage projects
∎ Proficiency in using Microsoft Project
∎ Ability to maintain an overview of entire projects while continuing to attend to detailed technicalities
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
∎ Negotiating, supervisory and leadership skills combined with the ability to delegate.
