Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ 1. Responsible for the overall strategy and execution of supply chain management functions as well as the planning and directing of activities and operations of the business as guided by Head of the department.
∎ 2. Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to streamline process and improve accuracy and efficiency within operations.
∎ 3. Maintain liaison with strategic suppliers to smoothen the process.
∎ 4. Check and negotiate prices on a regular basis based on market standards to maintain the budgeted expense.
∎ 5. Ensure availability of quality raw materials as per forecast to meet the demand on time.
∎ 6. Follow up LC, insurance, freight forwarding & C&F operations with concerned parties to ensure the overall process smoothly.
∎ 7. Ensure continuous development in product innovation, alternative product qualities, and alternate suppliers to meet customer demand.
