Responsibilities & Context:
∎ 1. To manage and conduct all product development activities by planning, organizing, coordinating, scheduling and assigning activities to personnel following documented procedures, instructions, product development protocol and regulatory requirements to meet marketing demand.
∎ 2.Supervise all aspects of development activities of new & reformulation of existing products as cost saving as well as improvement (problem solving) scheme in terms of stability & productivity or as per customer need.
∎ 3. To prepare, maintain & update the schedule of time/responsibility plan of new products.
∎ 4. To make liaison with marketing, quality assurance, commercial, sales & production relating to product development activities.
∎ 5.To organize the submission of the relevant documents like recipe, stability data, annexure to the Drug administration.
∎ 6. To implement any change in formulation/Process for product/process improvement with aim to ensure quality product.
∎ 7. Supervise for in time submission of new & reformulated Product brief, recipe if required, Annexure for amendment, PM specification (primary & secondary), trial batch quantification, trial BMR, BPR & final BMR & BPR to respective department.
∎ 8. Sharing knowledge & increasing presentation skill to deliver presentations related to development of your own project/ pre-formulation study as per training calendar.
∎ 9.To perform product development and validation activities.
∎ 10. To prepare, maintain & update SOPs.
