Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for the entire gamut of the OT service division.
∎ Ensure smooth and effective scheduling of cases in OT and share the same with the respective Consultant/HOD/In charge.
∎ Maintain all inventory in Operation Theatre and handle all staff (Technicians/Nurses) in OT.
∎ Working with vendors in conducting maintenance of the Operation Theatre equipment.
∎ Ensuring that the medical wastes are disposed of in accordance with the Organizational practices.
∎ Delegating and rotating nursing staff and theatre technicians for effective utilization.
∎ Controlling OT consumption.
∎ Coordinate with surgeons and anesthetists.
∎ Daily pre-surgery call. Sharing Daily/weekly/monthly reporting of OT data with the respective Department.
