Job Context:
∎ An International renewable energy development company looking for Deputy Manager/Assistant Manager - Engineering for Bangladesh Operations.
∎ The company is seeking a smart & enthusiastic Engineering professional with a vast experience in the of COMMERCIAL solar photovoltaic design to drive the company`s financial operations as well as to contribute in accomplishing overall company goals.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Complete system designs for PV modelling projects for Rooftop including shading analysis, mechanical racking plans, specification of BOS location and interconnection details, and labeling.
∎ Using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create electrical single-line diagrams, connection diagrams or panel schedules for solar electrical systems.
∎ Preparing PV layouts, SLD, BOM preparation, 3D project modelling, Structure fabrication drawings & RFQ preparation.
∎ Doing AC & DC cable sizing, earthing calculation, and string configurations.
∎ RFP preparation experience with solar (PV) power generation.
∎ Understanding of Solar Power Plant (IPP) and development process.
∎ Designing solar panels or wind turbines for commercial use, making sure they are structurally sound, safe for humans to interact with, and able to withstand natural elements such as wind and rain.
∎ Conducting research to develop new technology for renewable energy production
∎ Consulting with clients about the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of solar power systems.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ A minimum of three (3) years of COMMERCIAL solar photovoltaic design experience required.
∎ Familiar with PVsyst and other related software.
∎ Must have preliminary knowledge about LT panel/substation.
∎ Adequate knowledge and experience in Auto-CAD, Visio, PowerPoint, Google Sketchup and Microsoft Office.
∎ Any additional experience with estimating or designing electrical systems is preferred.
