Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for vendor management, including establishing relationships, evaluations, and site visits.
∎ Sourcing International & Local vendors for products (Goods & services).
∎ Material planning, review and purchasing. Negotiation of pricing for delivery and inventory of stock plate.
∎ Plan, develop, optimize, organize, direct, evaluate and be accountable for all of supply chain's processes of the hospital. Assist planning, forecasting and other areas as required.
∎ Supervising that required items are received on time from the source of supply.
∎ Conduct vendor evaluation, audit and develop new vendor as per company policy.
∎ Conduct research to determine the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality.
∎ Initiate and monitor the return of faulty items received including contact with suppliers as needed.
∎ Implement JIT (Just in Time) methodology for products by ordering in such a time so that products become available at site.
∎ Ensures quality, quantity and safety of all hospital equipment by monitoring and controlling maintenance work-flow.
∎ Leadership approaches with compliant.
∎ Preparing monthly report as per requirement.
∎ Reporting the authority on demand for the acknowledgement, awareness to have strategic planning & process.
∎ Capable to work under pressure and always prompt to response against any query of Management & Clients.
∎ Other duties as assigned by the Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Should have minimum 8-10 years of experience in International procurement, logistics and distribution
∎ Must have experience working in a tertiary level hospital managing large scale operation
∎ Must have strong communication skill both in English and Bengali
∎ Must possess strong negotiation skill.
