Job Context:
∎ Divine Mercy Hospital Ltd. (DMHL) is a dynamic project of The Christian Co-operative Credit Union Ltd. (CCCUL) Dhaka. It is located on the outskirts of Dhaka city at proximity to the Dhaka By Pass National Highway at Mothbari, Ulukhola Kaligonj under the District of Gazipur (approx. 12 kilometers from Kuril, Bishwaroad).
∎ Divine Mercy Hospital is a 300 bedded multi-disciplinary hospital to be established with the aim of providing quality health care services at affordable costs to the people of all segments of the society of Bangladesh.
∎ DMH is organized to have almost all clinical departments under one roof which will enable to deliver proper integrated services to the patients. One stop state of the art Diagnostic Services will be one of its major features. It will also provide 24 hours emergency and ambulance services, with round the clock doctors, available for treatment of various discipline.
∎ The hospital is seeking application for the following position who would be interested to join in the journey to provide quality services with love, care and compassion.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To provide management and overall support for Engineering department, Facility management, Food & Beverage, Safety &Security, Environmental issues and Transport pool departments.
∎ The incumbent will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of all the assigned departments for Divine Mercy Hospital.
∎ Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
∎ Provide direction for support services departments
∎ Identify cost effective systems needed to support the business of the hospital taking into account business trends, resource availability and changes in the industry
∎ Maintain effective working relationships with all communities including administration, employees, providers, patients and vendors
∎ Advise Administration, supervisory staff and employees as to the proper interpretation of various Environmental Health, Safety and Environment Care policies, procedures and regulations
∎ Work proactively with Administration in meeting facility goals and construction projects
∎ Provide leadership and consultative services to departments and services within the organization in achieving regulatory/accreditation compliance
∎ Direct and oversee the fulfillment of project assignments, within budget and on schedule
∎ Monitor staff to assure that they are following established safety policies and procedures
∎ Serves as an active member of the Safety committee and other committees as designated by Administration
∎ Ensure compliance with policies and procedures regarding department operations, fire, safety, and infection control.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 38 to 50 years
∎ Minimum of three years supervisory experience in motivating, training, appraising, and directing the efforts of professional and technical staff.
∎ Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations.
∎ Ability to handle difficult situations involving patients, physicians, or others in a professional manner.
