Job Context:
∎ Prime Bank Eye Hospital (an initiative of Prime Bank Foundation) begun under the technical and management assistance of Aravind Eye Care System (AECS) of India. Located in Satmosjid Road in Dhaka, PBEH officially opened to the public in 2012 providing a wide range of eye services: from routine eye exams to ophthalmic diagnosis and surgical procedures. It operates its own Optic shop and Medicine Corner. It also has ambulance service, lift service, cafeteria, two standby generators serving as electricity backup and an ATM facility.
∎ Job Location: Prime Bank Eye Hospital (PBEH), located at House # 82, Road 8A, Satmasjid Road, Dhanmondi, Dhaka-1209
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Counseling the patients for surgery (Walk-in + Camp)
∎ Educate the patients about PBEH surgical procedures
∎ Provide awareness about eye-care
∎ Provide information about hospital facilities or any other extra facilities (if there's any)
∎ Make surgery schedule (Walk-in + Camp) based on a consultation with the PBEH Consultants and let the patient know about the surgery date
∎ Keep record of Surgeries done Vs Surgeries identified by Consultant
∎ Prepare schedule for Anesthesia Doctor and Surgeon
∎ Provide information to the patients on hospital Bed/Cabin/VIP Cabin
∎ Help surgery patients for performing investigations and pathological tests as suggested by the doctors
∎ Take all necessary measures for patient admission
∎ Order placing to OT for required Lens i.e. Provide IOL for surgery
∎ Arrange Avastin and make schedule for these patients
∎ Provide necessary instruments (GA ) or medicine for surgery pts (MMC)
∎ Make schedule for the laser patients
∎ Prepare daily, weekly and monthly surgery report for analysis
∎ Perform any other jobs as assigned by the Project Director, PBEH.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 40 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Skills Required: Communications, Good knowledge on computer (MS Office
∎ At least 2 year(s) practical experience as a Counselor in a reputed eye hospital
∎ The applicants should have experience in a Hospital/Diagnostic Centre/Clinic
∎ Fresher's are also encouraged to apply.
