Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support the Head of Student Life with all aspects of the delivery and development of Student Life activities, including immersive learning
∎ Manage the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme
∎ Coordinate other student-centered activities and specific projects as required
∎ Initiate new opportunities for students' leadership and other skills development
∎ Liaise with faculty and administration staff, external allies, and coordinate with relevant departments and the residential campus in regard to Student Life activities
∎ Assist in monitoring and evaluation of Student Life activities and immersive learning programs
∎ Act as a deputy to the Head of Student Life as required
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum five to six years of experience in youth engagement, teaching, academic administration, fundraising, public relations and communications or similar roles; Experience of working in a University or academic setting is preferred
∎ Experience with survey assessment tools such as SurveyMonkey, or Google Forms; statistical analysis skills would be desirable
∎ Dynamic presentation skills, strong IT skills and a capacity to produce promotional materials using graphic design software
∎ Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written (English and Bengali) along with Strong interpersonal skills and intercultural awareness
∎ A strong work ethic and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow through in a timely manner
∎ Willingness to travel and take part in student activities as per requirement and flexible in working hours
