Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
∎ PGT in Gastroenterology & Should have MD/FCPS on Gastroenterology or Equivalent Degree.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct thorough consultations with patients, review medical histories, and perform physical examinations to diagnose GI conditions.
∎ Perform and interpret various diagnostic tests and procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, biopsies, and imaging studies to identify gastrointestinal disorders.
∎ Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patients which may involve medication prescriptions, lifestyle modifications, dietary recommendations or surgical interventions.
∎ Manage and monitor patients with gastrointestinal diseases such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, liver diseases, gastrointestinal bleeding, and other conditions.
∎ Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals including surgeons, oncologists, radiologists and nutritionists to provide integrated care for patients with complex GI issues.
∎ Stay updated with the latest advancements in gastroenterology through continuing education, research, and participation in conferences. Some gastroenterologists also contribute to medical research and educate medical students, residents, and fellows.
∎ Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options and preventive measures to improve their understanding and facilitate informed decision-making.
∎ Respond to emergencies related to gastrointestinal issues in hospital settings or emergency departments.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Ambitious, Dedicated, Hard Working
∎ Development Experiences particularly on Medical.
∎ Must have valid registration with BMDC.
∎ Preferred: Experience in hospitals with over 500 beds or team manager
∎ Willing to take challanges of work pressure & deadline.
∎ To perform additional duties to meet with the Company's needs as required and assigned by management.
