Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ 1.Lead the technical execution of projects including inspection, analysis, design, construction observation, and regulatory compliance activities associated with a variety of dams, bridges, cross dam, sluice gate and other appurtenant hydraulic structures.
∎ 2.Hydrologic analyses including flood frequency estimates and statistical hydrology, model preparation, calibration, and verification.
∎ 3.Hydraulic structure modeling including weirs, orifices, spillways, and complex pipe systems, using one- and two-dimensional modeling approaches as well as spreadsheet calculations.
∎ 4.Dam breach analyses using one- and two-dimensional hydraulic modeling approaches and preparation of inundation maps.
∎ 5.Support other dam engineering activities such as visual inspections, potential failure modes and risk analyses, and emergency action planning.
∎ 6.Prepare technical reports, graphics including construction drawings, maps, figures, and exhibits, and supporting calculations.
∎ 7.Implement quality management system
∎ 8.Control and manage changes to project
