∎ NESL now invites applications from competent candidates for the post Construction Planner / Scheduler for employment with our prospective clients working in oil and gas.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ General:
∎ Construction Planner position needed to demonstrate Leadership, effective communication, engineering skills, project controls & continual improvements to meet the Company Bangladesh Project and Construction execution goals established by management. Coordinate action items required to meet the business plans for project success.
∎ Safety:
∎ Demonstrate effective safety leadership and performance, experience with application of Operational Excellence Processes. Proactive champion for incident and injury free performance within Company and our construction team. Participant in safety assessment reviews, audits and sometimes action owner.
∎ Construction Engineering:
∎ Coordinates with FE Planners where resources are shared to establish direction and priorities for BYO, BB & Growth project activities. Use available data (e.g., priorities, production impact, backlog) to drive or identify and prioritize work.
∎ Recommends plans to optimize construction resources. Releases weekly job plan to O&M planners, maintaining one month’s worth of construction projects in a ready to schedule status.
∎ Responsible to assist Interface engineer to interface between FE engineers, Construction contractors & Company O&M group to resolve any field engineering issues.
∎ Work with FE engineers to develop construction work packs & shutdown packages, gather all field technical data during FEED & Detail design as well as work with construction contractors to prepare red line Drawings.
∎ Effectively communicates, leads and works within a multi-discipline collaborative environment to deliver results within expectations.
∎ Provides direct support to construction and interfaces with FE, Operations and other work groups in construction monitoring, optimization, turnaround planning, facility integrity and project controls.
∎ Work with commissioning team to develop process startup procedures, operating instructions and operator training guides for existing & new facilities.
∎ A self-starter, proactive, with good communication skills who has proven ability to cohesively work with local & expat contractors in executing the various construction work scopes.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 23 years
∎ 2-5 years experience in O&M Planning/ Projects & Construction.
∎ Previous working experience in Oil & Gas sector is plus.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Dominant work schedule will be 14 days on/ 14 days off basis. Work Schedule may vary as per Company`s requirement. Yearly two annual allowance/bonus. Cell phone allowance. Group life Insurance coverage. Hospitalization Insurance coverage.
