∎ NESL now invites applications from competent candidates for the post Construction Mechanical Supervisor for employment with our prospective clients working in oil and gas.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ General: Lead mechanical construction works including managing construction contractor and interfacing with design engineering team to ensure mechanical installation meet design intent
∎ Safety:
∎ Demonstrate effective safety leadership and performance, experience with application of Operational Excellence Processes. Proactive champion for incident and injury free performance within Company and our construction team. Participant in safety assessment reviews, audits and sometimes action owner.
∎ Construction Engineering:
∎ Leads, coordinates, and directs construction for mechanical & piping/pipeline discipline for Project Construction.
∎ Follow Company all Safe Work practices & procedures and lead by example for contractor workforces.
∎ Co-ordinate Contractors mobilization, Pre-Mob Checklists, This job includes several meetings, negotiation and conflict resolution consultation with multifunctional team.
∎ Responsible for Interface between Design engineers, Construction Mechanical contractors & Company
∎ O&M group to resolve any fie engineering issues. Review all Mechanical/Piping AFC Drawings, co-ordinate Field engineering, Surplus material review, MTOs, Follow Technical Query Process during construction.
∎ Work with Design engineers to develop construction work packs & shutdown packages, gather all field technical data during FEED & Details design as well as work with construction contractors to prepare Red line Drawings.
∎ Review AFC drawings, BOQs, Contractor’s proposals & resource allocations, develop construction sequencing/methodology with contractor Critical Lifting Plan during construction.
∎ Fluent in all International Piping Codes & Standards.
∎ A self-starter, proactive, with good communication skills who has proven ability to cohesively work with local & expat contractors in execution the various construction work scopes.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Minimum 5 years’ experience in Mechanical, Piping & Pipeline Projects & Construction. Working Experience in Multinational Company will be preferred.
∎ Working experiences in Oil& Gas industry is plus.
∎ Trade Certification (e.g. NDT, Coating Inspection) is plus.
∎ Fluent English language skills, strong verbal & written communication abilities, technical writing, and documentation proficiency.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Dominant work schedule will be 14 days on/ 14 days off basis. Work Schedule may vary as per Company`s requirement. Yearly two annual allowance/bonus. Cell phone allowance. Group life Insurance coverage. Hospitalization Insurance coverage.
