∎ Undergraduate/M.com/CA in relevant field.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 6 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop strategic plans to encourage business growth using analytics to create action plans that are based off data and statistics, and interpret results against targets.
∎ Controlling and maintaining import transport from Chittagong port, Dhaka Airport, Benapole Port, DEPZ, AEPZ to Factory.
∎ Oversee and update the stock position against import under entitlement with store to maintain optimum Stock Level of Raw Material for Smooth Production.
∎ Co-ordinate with all section of Commercial department (Export section, Import section, Customs section, Bank section, Audit section) BKMEA, BGMEA & EPB section.
∎ Co-ordinate with Marketing & Merchandising department and Accounts & Finance department regularly for shipment schedule and fund management activities respectably.
∎ Must be highly skilled in dealing with concerned authorities to ensure all types of regulatory License / Certificates ( Such as DOE clearance , Fire License , Labour Office , BGMEA, BKMEA Membership certificate, etc.).
∎ Ensure Party acceptance as well as Bank Maturity and Payment Realization.
∎ Follow up and ensure Cash Incentive Claim submission is on Time and Liaison with Bangladesh Bank for Fund collection.
∎ Maintain and build up a satisfactory working relationship with high officials of Govt. /Non govt. bodies relating to our Business.
∎ Develop operational process and arrange deliveries / shipments/ Documentations on time.
∎ Follow up import indent as per requirement of respective department on the basis of lead time.
∎ Coordinate with C&F, Shipping Line/ Freight Forwarder, Transport and other concern, related to clearing the consignment from Port on time.
∎ Must ensure all regulatory formalities, keep records & prepare all types of Statement relating to Export / Import and any other, when/where necessary.
∎ Negotiate with buyers for commercial issues like L/C.
∎ Monitoring everyday fund in various lien banks and synchronize fund for payment of cash L/C and term loan.
∎ Any other task assigned by Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 4 years as a “Commercial Manager” in the Garments industry.
∎ Good communication skills in English and Bengali.
∎ Have to have good computer skills.
∎ Must have adequate knowledge of HS code, Custom act, Import policy, Export policy, Bond formalities and other related Laws applicable for Import & Export.
∎ Must have excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
∎ Must possess very excellent interpersonal skills.
