∎ POSITION OVERVIEW
∎ We are looking for a Clinical Phycologist (CP) who is energetic, disciplined and proactive with a strong understanding of mental health, trauma, health project management, community outreach, public health research, basic administrative management.
∎ This position will be working closely with medical teams in MedGlobal HP and, if necessary, in other MedGlobal Centers with an aim to:
∎ Improve the beneficiaries` mental health wellbeing and psychosocial conditions
∎ Supporting the Primary Health Care Services (PHCS) medical team by providing guidance and capacity building for the implementation of qualitative psychosocial care and mental health activities
∎ Assisting the community volunteers (CVs) in the identification of beneficiaries in need of specific psychological counseling and ensuring individual or group support for identified beneficiaries
∎ With overall guidance from Project Coordinator, Clinical Coordinator and Program Manager, the position will be directly supervised by Country Representative.
∎ The CP is responsible for leading a team of medical professionals and CHWs, reporting and overseeing the operation of MedGlobal Health Post so far as mental health, trauma and its treatment, counseling and referrals are concerned for the FDMN population and host community.
∎ To be successful as a CP he/she needs to have strong knowledge on the subject, eager to work in the community, trauma management awareness creation on mental health issues.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Improving the Mental Health Wellbeing and Psychosocial Condition (70% of time):
∎ Provide psychological consultations on regular basis as per the time schedule prepared by PC.
∎ Maintain highest degree of privacy of beneficiaries.
∎ Ensure all work with clients is confidential
∎ Maintain compliance and ethical practices are observed strictly.
∎ Document client data accurately in the intake forms and ensure they are under lock and key.
∎ Ensure that the MH Data Tool is accurately updated on a regular basis.
∎ Participate in the interpretation of the analyzed data on trends.
∎ Participate in the preparation of accurate reports for all Psycho-social related activities.
∎ Assess the beneficiaries' psychological condition by using psychological tools to detect the vulnerable cases and ensure psychological follow up.
∎ Actively participate in weekly supervision meetings.
∎ Assist in development of referral networks between partners implementing GBV and implementation of referral pathways.
∎ Participate in conducting trainings for medical and non-medical staff on mental health related topics.
∎ Conducting regular Awareness raising session with communities within
∎ health facilities.
∎ Lead/Participate in the identification and selection of Community Volunteers (CVs).
∎ Regular capacity building of CVs in Mental Health related topics
∎ Managing the activities of CVs through regular follow-up.
∎ 2. Networking, Reporting and Project Development: (15% of time)
∎ Visit nearest Healthcare facilities, CiC office, other NGOs/INGOs and stakeholders working in mental health to build rapport and understanding
∎ Attend in-house meetings and represent MedGlobal in outside meetings as required.
∎ Follow up with headquarter staff after attending meetings;
∎ Explore prospective opportunities for partnership with the health sector, UN agencies or others.
∎ Producing timely progress reports, including both quantitative and qualitative information, on MHPSS activities and clinical case studies
∎ Submit timely MHPSS data to Program Manager/MIS staff/Head Office as necessary.
∎ Coordinate with Procurement Officer through PC for timely and sufficient supply of the MHPSS materials.
∎ 3. Others (15% of time)
∎ Contribute in developing and updating organizational documents
∎ Assign work and manage the performance of own staff in HP
∎ Complete administrative tasks of the HP
∎ Provide financial, admin and logistic support to implement the project activities.
∎ Work in close liaison with the Program Manager (PM)/MIS Staff and submit periodical reports.
∎ Attend meetings as directed by the CR and PM.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Skills
∎ Working Skill in a clinical setting
∎ Understanding of NGO and public sector and national health system issues is necessary.
∎ Fluency in Bangla and English and effective communication skill (verbal/nonverbal)
∎ Effective presentation of relevant information (oral & written)
∎ Willingness to travel (at least 30% of time) in field areas and proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and Google suit are needed.
∎ Qualifications and Experience
∎ Qualification
∎ MSC in clinical physiology from any reputed university/institute.
∎ Certification and education/training on trauma management, psychosocial counseling is preferred.
∎ Experience
∎ A minimum of 1+ years of professional experience.
∎ Experience in developing SBC materials and messages particularly on SGBV and Reproductive health rights of the women and girls is an advantage.
∎ Experience in training facilitation and strong interpersonal communication skill with the ability to communicate and negotiate clearly and effectively at all levels.
∎ An individual with frequent traveling experience is necessary.
∎ Experience in working in Cox's Bazar area and FDMN Camp will be an advantage.
∎ Experience in working in HP/PHC facilities in FDMN camps or as part of emergency response elsewhere will have additional value.
