Job Responsibilities:
∎ The High Commission of Canada seeks a qualified candidate to serve as a Cleaner for High Commission of Canada to Bangladesh. The successful candidate will report to the Property & Material Manager and be tasked to do the following:
∎ The position is an operational level general services position. The cleaner's position normally reports to the Property Manager or a Common Services Assistant position. Performs regular cleaning and, when required, participates in large scale projects such as quarterly or bi-annual maintenance of floors, carpets, interior windows, etc. Assists with hospitality and event duties, including but not limited to High Commission premises. May be asked on occasion to lift or move relatively heavy furniture or equipment, supervise other workers, or perform other miscellaneous duties as required.
∎ Other tasks as required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum three (3) years of experience in Cleaning activities in five star hotels, Large Scale Restaurants / Shopping Malls / Organizations, private clubs, diplomatic mission, big hospitals or any major international organization. Experience in lifting and moving heavy items.
∎ Candidates will initially be screened against the Essential Qualifications relating to education, language* and experience.
∎ Candidates must clearly demonstrate when applying to the position how they meet each of these essential qualifications.
∎ *Language will be assessed further during the process.
∎ Basic fluency in English (speaking).

Salary:
∎ 358,929 BDT gross per annum (non-negotiable) plus benefits (13th month bonus equal to one month`s salary), international working environment. Per terms and conditions: A performance based yearly salary increase and paid overtime. Excellent opportunity for work life balance.
