Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Developing detailed plans and layouts based on project requirements and feasibility studies
∎ Creating blueprints, diagrams, and models for infrastructure projects using software like AutoCAD, Revit, or Civil 3D
∎ Conducting site assessments to determine potential challenges and environmental impact
∎ Analyzing load requirements and material strength to ensure safe structural designs
∎ Calculating stress factors, soil strength, and other physical forces that affect infrastructure
∎ Estimating project costs, material quantities, and construction timelines
∎ Preparing financial and time budgets for project execution and monitor expenses to stay within budget
∎ Overseeing construction activities to ensure they adhere to design, safety regulations, and quality standards
∎ Coordinating with construction teams to resolve issues that arise during the building process
∎ Performing on-site inspections to monitor progress and assess compliance with plans
∎ Ensuring that all projects meet regulatory standards and environmental guidelines
∎ Developing risk mitigation strategies to address potential environmental and safety hazards
∎ Collaborating with project managers, government agencies, and contractors to keep all stakeholders informed
∎ Preparing reports and presentations to communicate project progress and issues
