∎ B.S.C/M.S.C in Civil or Structural Engineering (essential) from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), University of Asia Pacific (UAP), East West University (EWU) or Renowned Public University.
∎ Professionally registered with the IEB.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 3 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ We are looking to hire a Civil Engineer for Estimation & Monitoring work purpose with excellent mathematical, IT, and analytical skills. Applicant is expected to be detail-oriented, creative, and possess amazing problem-solving skills.
∎ To ensure success, applicant should display an investigative nature and must be accurate, commercially aware, and have great communication skills with a keen interest in ensuring the safety and physical integrity of buildings and other large structures. Top candidates will have fantastic project and budget management skills with great knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare documents for BOQ & participate in EGP tendering.
∎ Prepare reports, designs, drawings, calculation of consumption of materials & work estimation.
∎ Monitoring site progress and work planning.
∎ Consider the strength of construction materials and select appropriately.
∎ Calculation of fund allocation to prepare budget, estimate, and track consumption weekly.
∎ Inspect properties to evaluate the conditions and foundations & maintenance.
∎ Use computer-aided design technology for simulation & calculation purposes.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Work Experience at any reputed Construction Company / or Supervision Consultancy firm that works in the Government infrastructure sector
∎ Must be able to handle EGP Tendering at expert level.
∎ Must be able to estimate
∎ Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations and Auto-cad.
∎ Sound understanding of physics and mathematics.
∎ Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving skills.
∎ Meticulous attention to detail, file management with superb organizational skills.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
∎ Excellent communication and IT skills.
∎ EGP tender participating knowledge
∎ Willingness to stay at project site when needed.
∎ Must be flexible.
∎ Must be organised.
∎ Must be able to adapt to any kind of living conditions, and able to travel and stay in site when necessary.
∎ Must be able to interpret lab tests etc.
∎ Must have thorough understanding of work processes and construction equipment.
