Job Responsibilities:
∎ Creating detailed plans and blueprints for construction projects, ensuring they meet safety and regulatory standards.
∎ Conducting site surveys and soil tests to assess the feasibility of construction and its impact on the environment.
∎ Overseeing the entire construction process, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
∎ Choosing appropriate construction materials and techniques to optimize durability, cost-efficiency, and sustainability.
∎ Ensuring that projects comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental laws.
∎ Monitoring construction progress, quality control, and safety on-site to ensure that projects are completed as planned.
∎ Addressing environmental concerns, such as minimizing pollution, managing water resources, and preserving natural habitats.
∎ Working closely with architects, contractors, and government agencies to coordinate and execute projects successfully.
∎ Utilizing CAD software and other engineering tools for drafting and design tasks.
