Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc/M.Sc in Nursing. Candidates having MPH degree will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for to direct supervision and coordination of the activities in the allocated Unit/Ward in line with the policies and procedures of Nursing Department.
∎ Monitoring and improving standards of care through supervision of nursing practice: clinical audit, teaching and research.
∎ Applies effectively management theories and principles to create and maintain a conductive working environment that will allow her team members to achieve satisfaction in their jobs.
∎ Ensures staff compliance with established nursing policies and procedures, provide clinical guidance and supervision of nursing personnel and activities directed toward maintaining standards of patient care, safety, infection control and professional behavior.
∎ Establishes effective channels of communication among staff on all Shifts and responsible to ensure staff knowledge on lines of Communication according to the hospital organization chart.
∎ Guides the staff in solving complaints concerning patients, relatives and staff using the appropriate communication channels.
∎ Encourages unit staff to critically examine their nursing practices and continue to pursue education programmes. Identifies individual learning needs for professional and career development when evaluating staff's job performance. Provide guidance and counseling as needed.
∎ Plan, organizes and conducts orientation programmes with preceptor for the new nursing staff in the unit as ensure proper orientation and guidance is conducted.
∎ Monitors the quality of case/service in the designated unit and Subsequently initiates action and implementation of the corrective measures.
∎ Monitors performance of staff to ensure nursing care of patients Carried accordingly and adhere to the vision, mission, philosophy and values to achieve the objective of the nursing service.
∎ Take responsibility to maintain hygiene and safely standards of the Unit and is accountable for the delivery of safe nursing care to her Patients at all times.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 15 years practical clinical experience is required out of which minimum 5 years in senior management position.
∎ Additional experience in teaching/training and practical orientation knowledge with JCI Accreditation will get preference.
∎ Candidate should be proficient in using Microsoft Office.
∎ Should have good command on English & Bangla.
∎ Should be enthusiastic, pro-active, dedicated, punctual and hard working.
∎ Should have good interpersonal and communication skills.
