Job Context:
∎ Relevant degree, qualification, or recognition
∎ Minimum of 5-8 years in a management role, in a blue-chip FMCG Company and/or retail/e-commerce company experience, e.g., Daraz, Chaldal, eValy, Amazon, Alibaba, etc.
∎ Understanding of Bangladeshi retail consumers, and preferably an understanding of online consumerism.
∎ Track record of personal achievement and people leadership.
∎ Entrepreneurial spirit, strong analytical skills, and hands-on attitude - you should be `hungry`, excited by a fast-paced environment, and keen to build an incredible team.
∎ People management experience.
∎ Brand or marketing experience would be highly advantageous.
∎ Strong financial Acumen with a highly analytical outlook.
∎ Proven ability to meet budget, revenue, and profit goals in a retail environment
∎ Experience building and managing a successful eCommerce team

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overseeing operational improvement across all areas of the company
∎ Creation of a long-term strategic and financial plan.
∎ Monitoring company activities and ensuring the business operates within guidelines.
∎ Formulating company policies and strategies with a view to driving growth.
∎ Advising on the future growth of the business.
∎ Providing strategic analysis, forecasts, and projections to the business.
∎ Ensure customers receive the best possible service at every point of interaction with the business
∎ Manage and recruit managers across key portfolios (e.g., finance, marketing, merchandising, operations, and IT)
∎ Maintain oversight of the business plan, financial performance, and risk factors
∎ Support in managing key supplier relationships together with the respective line manager
∎ Support in key negotiations with suppliers to drive margin and payment terms
∎ To build brand and value proposition, through smart marketing, website optimization, and merchandising
∎ Ensure that best practices are implemented and adhered to
∎ Achieve aggressive sales KPIs and expansion plans
∎ Ability to multi-task across time-zone markets.
