Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Research: Developing new and improved manufacturing processes
∎ Design: Planning the layout of equipment
∎ Safety: Establishing safety procedures for working with dangerous chemicals
∎ Testing: Conducting tests and monitoring production processes
∎ Troubleshooting: Solving problems in manufacturing processes
∎ Compliance: Ensuring equipment and processes comply with safety and environmental regulations
∎ Cost estimation: Estimating production costs for management
∎ Process optimization: Ensuring chemical processes maximize operational efficiency
∎ Environmental impact: Mitigating any environmental impacts
∎ Carrying out process simulation studies to optimize plants and improve energy efficiency
∎ Conduct research to develop new and improved manufacturing processes.
∎ Design and plan the layout of equipment.
∎ Establish safety procedures for working with dangerous chemicals.
∎ Conduct tests and monitor production processes.
∎ Troubleshoot problems in manufacturing processes.
