Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum 4 years Diploma Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed institute.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Duration of contract: Initially up to 31 December 2022 (with the possibility of extension).
∎ Reporting to: Coordinator, Bhasan Char Operation.
∎ Duty Station: Bhasan Char, Hatiya Noakhali.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Undertake the lead responsibilities of all field level construction works of Bhasan Char Operation.
∎ Ensure proper and timely monitoring of the repair and maintenance-related activities of the operation.
∎ Coordinate with UNHCR Shelter, Field team and govt. authorities of Bhasan Char to ensure timely approval and implementation of the project activities.
∎ Assess the challenge and mitigate with the support of respective team members.
∎ Planning, Monitoring and Guidance of Engineering Section.
∎ Generate regular and periodic reports and share with the concern authority of BDRCS and UHNCR.
∎ Any other responsibilities assigned by the authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 01 year of working experience in relevant field.
∎ Good Computer skills with architectural design, AutoCAD and software operation.
∎ Organizing, Coordination and Planning skills.
∎ Sound knowledge in subject area.
∎ The incumbent should be dynamic, well organized, self-driven & have good personality with leadership skill.
∎ Should be able to work under pressure.
∎ Willingness to facilitate regular field visit.
∎ Fluent in English and Bangla.
∎ Adhere to the 7 fundamental principles of Red Cross and Red Crescent movement.
∎ Act at all times in accordance with the Code of Conduct.
∎ Able to work in a team and respects opinions of others.
∎ Honest and high level of integrity.
∎ Assist the organization on occasion, in times of national, international, local emergencies or major disasters.
∎ Age limit :40 years (age limit will be relaxed in case of the potential candidate).
Salary: Tk. 40000 (Monthly)
