Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Customer service: Agents should be customer-focused and have experience working in customer service settings.
∎ Managing calls: Agents should be able to handle a high volume of calls, both inbound and outbound.
∎ Problem solving: Agents should be able to quickly and efficiently solve customer problems and defuse conflicts.
∎ Product knowledge: Agents should have knowledge of the company, product, and relevant legislation to assist customers.
∎ Meeting KPIs: Agents should meet key performance indicators (KPIs) such as call volume, average call handling time, and customer satisfaction scores.
∎ Escalating issues: Agents should know when to escalate issues to other departments or team members.
∎ Learning new technology: Agents should learn new call center software and other relevant technology.
∎ Interpersonal skills: Agents should be able to deal with all types of problems, including those from irate callers.
∎ Multitasking: Agents should be able to juggle multiple calls at once.
∎ Communication: Agents should have great communication skills and be able to listen to customers.
∎ Flexibility: Agents should be able to handle the varying personalities and moods of customers.
