Responsibilities & Context:
- Operate and monitor boilers, auxiliary equipment, and control systems
- Perform regular inspections of boiler systems, valves, gauges, and safety devices
- Maintain proper water levels, pressure, and temperature
- Record operational data such as pressure, temperature, fuel consumption, and water levels
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards
- Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for major repairs or shutdowns
- Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company policies
- Respond to emergency situations and take corrective actions as required
