Responsibilities & Context:
Responsible for daily maintenance and repair of boiler body, water walls, economizer, air preheater, air ducts, flue ducts, and other equipment.
Handle equipment defects such as boiler tube bursts, air leaks, leaks, wear, and soot buildup.
Participate in unit shutdown overhauls, emergency repairs, preventive tests, and hazard remediation.
Proficient in using inspection tools such as endoscopes, thickness gauges, and flaw detectors, and maintain proper maintenance records.
Prepare maintenance plans, process cards, acceptance reports, and implement preventive maintenance plans.
