Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Statistics.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design and conduct complex biomedical studies to provide reliable data.
∎ Interpret statistical data to inform strategic decisions and recommendations.
∎ Develop new statistical methodologies to handle issues arising in data analysis.
∎ Write detailed reports summarizing research findings for scientific and non-scientific audiences.
∎ Provide expertise on biostatistics to teams and partners during project planning and implementation stages.
∎ Collaborate with scientists and researchers to improve study designs and report findings.
∎ Utilize statistical computer software (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS) to manage, manipulate, and analyze data.
∎ Assist in the preparation of research grant proposals.
∎ Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
∎ Ability to write and publish scientific reports.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ 2+ years of relevant work experience will have an added advantage.
∎ Proven knowledge and expertise in statistics and its application to clinical trials. Depending on the assignment may require proven expertise in pharmacokinetics. Proficiency in the use of statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, R).
∎ Knowledge of drug development and Health Authority guidelines. Able to work on and collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team to achieve team objectives.
∎ Sound understanding of research methodologies and biostatistics.
∎ Proficiency in MS Office.
∎ Strong statistical and mathematical aptitude.
