Educational Requirements:
∎ M.Phill/MD in Biochemistry for MBBS Doctors.
∎ Or B.Sc (Hons)/ M.Sc in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning and organizing work in a clinical biochemistry laboratory.
∎ Carrying out complex analyses on specimens of body fluids and tissues.
∎ Performing Real Time PCR.
∎ Assuring the quality of clinical biochemistry investigations.
∎ Auditing the diagnostic and clinical use and performance of investigations.
∎ Providing technical and administrative support to technical team.
∎ Follow the standard precaution for all patients as per laboratory protocol and control of the infection.
∎ Development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the laboratory produces high quality information, and meets regulatory requirements and standards of practice.
∎ Selection of test methods and instrumentation.
∎ Assessment of the scientific and medical value of potential new tests, evaluation of the ongoing value of existing tests, in order to optimize patient care and the use of health care resources.
∎ Liaising with clinical and other healthcare staff, often in a multidisciplinary team setting
∎ Conducting research with Clinicians.
∎ Any other activities assigned by Authority.

Additional Requirements:
∎ The applicants should have experience of at least 1-2 years in the following business area : Hospital / Molecular Diagnostic Center.
∎ Must have familiarity with current Windows operating systems (as applicable) and proficiency in required software such as MS Word, MS Excel, etc.
∎ Must be hard working.
