Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for the proper functioning of all medical equipment of hospital for 24 x 7.
∎ To assist proper installation of new medical equipment by establishing, adjusting, calibrating, testing and performance.
∎ Ensure periodic maintenance & routine servicing schedule for all medical equipment on time.
∎ Keep up-to-date service histories of all biomedical equipment and maintaining equipment inventories.
∎ Maintain and repair medical equipment on time according to departmental quality indicator.
∎ Arrange standby / loaner medical equipment or spares in case of repair delay.
∎ Train the clinicians and other hospital personnel on how to use medical equipment safely and effectively.
∎ To ensure regular care, cleaning & maintenance training on medical equipment to the relevant staff to avoid any unwanted events.
∎ Arrange for special training in medical equipment as may be required in the case of life-saving equipment.
∎ Assessing the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of medical equipment.
∎ Plan for optimal availability of medical equipment, spares, consumables, and accessories.
∎ Liaison with equipment supplier and service provider for getting proper service support on time and effectively.
∎ To maintain inventory by checking stock and raise requisition of spare parts for front line technical support of medical equipment timely.
∎ To follow-up with intra-related departments and as well as service provider to get spare parts and accessories immediately to reduce the down time of equipment.
∎ Maintain and ensure proper records for day-to-day activities in related areas.
