∎ Age at most 45 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prepare comprehensive estimates for repairs costs on damaged vehicles.
∎ Removal of non-related components in order to affect complete repairs to vehicles.
∎ Repair damaged body sections by panel beating and or by replacement.
∎ Carry out accident repairs of the body & chassis as required.
∎ Spray paint repaired body sections and/or complete vehicles as required.
∎ Apply all new fleet logos and other signs as and when required.
∎ Always maintain Health & Safety standards.
∎ Understanding and working knowledge of all related SOP’s.
∎ Maintain high GHP standards in the working area.
∎ Manage, organize and control an efficient mechanical engineering workshop including the management of Technicians and Graded Workers.
∎ Manage, plan, control and organize the planned preventative and corrective mechanical maintenance on all equipment in order to maximize their lifespan and ensure safety.
∎ This involves monitoring the performance of mechanical plant and machinery, ensuring remedial work is undertaken to prevent failure/loss of the plant and equipment.
∎ Create & maintain a register of all workshop equipment to manage the timely calibration and maintenance of this equipment.
∎ Performs a variety of highly skilled automotive repair tasks.•
