Job Responsibilities:
∎ Developing supply chain strategies that are the inventive and cost-effective process.
∎ Perform all supply chain activities including pre-qualification, negotiation, and preparation of contracts/delivery.
∎ Approving purchase orders and confirming the delivery of goods.
∎ Negotiate with the suppliers to obtain the best price and service.
∎ Should follow Just-in-time inventory/delivery management process.
∎ Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
∎ Conduct business review meetings with the key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential cost down and improvement opportunities.
∎ Should aware of inflation, technology failure, change in policies, high competition, and changes in consumer tastes and preferences.
∎ Expertise in reducing inventory waste and minimizing warehouse holding Expenses
∎ Supervising a purchasing team and delivery team
∎ Reporting to management on purchasing, controls, delivery and processes
∎ Managing the IT systems that track delivery and inventory
