Job Responsibilities:
∎ To ensure smooth functioning of mechanical and maintenance department.
∎ To ensure smooth functioning of the workshop and be able to make schedule for both internal and external works independently.
∎ To maintain complete brand wise record of life cycle usage of M/C, Mechanical Accessories, Spare parts used.
∎ To work as a change manager and upgrade the facilities in coordination with other departments.
∎ To maintain constant liaison with functioning departments as well as purchase department.
∎ To recommend purchase Dept., i.e. quality of brands based on past track record.
∎ To make and maintain the drawing and specification of all the parts and machine itself.
∎ To convert the existing workshop in to a top quality self-sufficient workshop.
∎ To ensure high quality grinding of all kinds of rolls by efficiently using the grinding machine.
∎ To ensure availability of all kinds of spares in the factory through constant coordination with the store and by timely issuing purchase requisition.
∎ To receive all kinds of purchased good and issue quality certificate.
∎ To make necessary maintenance plan in coordination with the maintenance department and other functioning department.
∎ To run & maintain the Boiler and related components.
∎ To maintain the function of RMS room and to maintain its safety.
∎ To be able to make plan, implement and supervise any given project independently.
∎ To be willing to work under pressure.
∎ To control the attendance, leave, overtime and other administrative issues of his subordinates.
∎ To allocate people for each shift to ensure constant support to production unit.
∎ To attend any other jobs as required by the management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience of managing W/shop in Mechanical Industry is preferred.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the Paper Industry.
∎ The Candidate should be self-starter.
∎ Thorough knowledge of all kinds of drawing and design (Auto Cad), estimation, quality control, quantity and cost analysis, extensive practical experience including mechanical workshop.
∎ Excellent verbal and sound written correspondence in English.
∎ Commitment to work, drive for result, Leadership skills.
∎ Good communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Should be dynamic, hardworking & proactive.
