Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Engineering in Electrical or Mechanical or Power

Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 4 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Power Generation

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Carries out all required operational changes, safety inspections and procedures, Spark plug replace, Tapped clearance adjust, boiler blow down, chemical tests, feed water analysis, SCADA control etc.
∎ Maintains an operating log and provides operating data, graphs, etc. pertinent to the efficient operation of the plant.
∎ To comply with all safety regulations including isolation, lock out and tag out.
∎ Take readings from charts, meters and gauges at established intervals, and take corrective steps as necessary.
∎ Perform corrective and preventive action during the shift if any abnormalities observed and keep the shift In-charge well informed.
∎ Monitor and inspect power plant equipment and indicators to detect evidence of operating problems.
∎ Clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment such as generators, pumps, and compressors in order to prevent equipment failure or deterioration.
∎ Acts as a communication center: relays messages, transmits and receives information and initiates the appropriate actions.
∎ Develops new and improved operating and reporting systems and procedures.
∎ Establish a good line of communication with all Powerhouse personnel.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in plant Operation of Generator / EGB /chiller will be an added advantage.
∎ Knowledge of GE Jenbacher Engines, Broad chiller and heat recovery boiler (Aprovis) operating will be an advantage.
