Job Context:
∎ Ananda Shipyard & Slipways Ltd. (A concern of Ananda Group)
∎ Job Location : Meghnaghat, Sonargaon, Narayanganj.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support to implement & maintain Shipyard QA/QC management system.
∎ Understands the new vessel contract specification and bid conditions in order to guide the ship building project to its successful completion.
∎ Controls the design of the new vessel process by reviewing drawings, specifications, and discusses where necessary.
∎ Reviews and validates the shipyards evaluation and work scope including: Completion of design, Engineering, Procurement, Test & Trials and Sub-contractors.
∎ Inspect the vessel building progress at different milestones (steel bending, block assembly, launching, etc) and prepares the inspection deficiency report.
∎ Carry out NDE inspections as mandated in ITP and issue reports.
∎ Prepares a progress monitoring and cost control programs for the project to meet the contractual performance targets.
∎ Ensure that document control practices in keeping with project requirements are strictly adhered during project phases.
∎ Prepare weight estimation as per drawings.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience of working in quality control department.
∎ Knowledge about shipbuilding technology and quality assessment rules.
