Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in any discipline
∎ Should have 5 - 10 years’ working experience in Hospital Administration/Operation at private sector with MBBS and Masters in Hospital Management/Public Health/Business Administration.

Job Context:
∎ The Associate Director is one of the key leaderships and management position and works closely with the Senior Director Health to set the overall strategic direction for SAJIDA Hospital.
∎ The Associate Director will maintain constructive working relations with all department leads of SAJIDA hospital as well as other support departments.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strategic Planning: Collaborating with the Supervisor to develop and implement strategic plans for the hospital, including setting goals and objectives, and ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and vision.
∎ Financial Management: Assisting in the development and management of the hospital's budget, monitoring financial performance, and implementing cost-effective measures to achieve financial goals. This involves overseeing revenue generation, expense control, and financial reporting.
∎ Operational Oversight: Working closely with department heads and supervisors to ensure smooth operations across various hospital departments, such as nursing, administration, finance, human resources, and facilities management. S/he provides guidance, support, and supervision to department managers for team work, marketing, branding, new initiatives, addressing any operational issues, mitigating/managing crisis that arise.
∎ Quality Improvement: Collaborating with the Supervisor and other stakeholders to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, ensuring that the hospital maintains SOP-based high standards of 24/7 patient care and safety. This involves monitoring and analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing evidence-based practices.
∎ Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that the hospital complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. S/he stays updated on healthcare policies and regulations, oversee compliance training programs, and work with various departments to address compliance issues.
∎ Stakeholder Relations: Building and maintaining effective relationship with internal and external stakeholders, including medical staff, patients, community organizations, government agencies, and insurance providers. S/he represents the hospital in meetings, conferences, and other events, or assigns her/his representative and facilitates liaison between the hospital and external entities.
∎ Personnel Management: Assisting in the recruitment, selection, and retention of qualified personnel, as well as overseeing staff development and performance evaluation processes. S/he also be involved in promoting a positive work culture and resolving personnel issues or conflicts by ensuring a conducive team environment.
∎ Information Management: Collaborating with the Supervisor and IT department to ensure the effective use of technology and information systems in hospital operations. This includes overseeing the implementation of electronic health records (EHRs) and other digital solutions, as well as ensuring data privacy and security.
∎ Emergency Preparedness: Working with the Supervisor and relevant stakeholders to develop and maintain emergency response plans, ensuring the hospital is prepared to handle crises, disasters, or public health emergencies.
∎ Continuous Learning: Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging healthcare technologies. This involves attending conferences, participating in professional development activities, and networking with other healthcare professionals.
